I am very pleased to introduce the new music video from dark electronic project Chiasm. Watch the video for her latest single, “Away,” a song she created with legendary producer John Fryer.
“Away” is a beautiful song featuring dense, stuttering electronics and Chiasm’s trademark ethereal vocals that shift into an echoing, high-pitched chorus: “Why don’t you take me away.” In the moody video, we see Chiasm’s Emileigh Rohn thrash about in stark black and white.
“Away” is the first single from Chiasm’s forthcoming album, Missed the Noise, which will be out later this year. The single includes remixes from Interface, Warren Harrison, GW4, and :10:.

Chiasm collaborates with Black Needle Noise
Chiasm is Detroit-based musician Emileigh Rohn, a massively overlooked talent in the industrial and dark electronic scene. Her sweet, ethereal vocals clash across layers of lush, hypnotic electro. Chiasm’s best-known song, “Isolated,” appeared on the Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines Soundtrack, and her most recent album, Reset, came out in early 2019.
Emileigh has been crafting visceral electronic music for more than 20 years. On “Away,” she works with an outside producer, John Fryer, for the first time. John is a prolific musician who’s worked with just about everyone in the scene, whether as a producer or as part of his project Black Needle Noise. His credits include Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, Cocteau Twins, and Love and Rockets.
