On this auspicious full moon day, we are overjoyed to announce that after two long years during which we could only gather virtually, this year’s fall seminar will once again take place in person at Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling Monastery in Boudhanath, Kathmandu!

Five days of teachings by Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche
Four days of afternoon teachings by Phakchok Rinpoche

Morning Schedule: November 19 – 23

Phakchok Rinpoche will offer Teachings on Padmasambhava’s Pith Instruction on the Bardos. Rinpoche will also give a Reading Transmission of the Bardo Thödol: The Great Liberation Upon Hearing in the Intermediate State.

November 24: Break day

PART 2: November 25 – 27
Three days of teachings by Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche

Morning Schedule: November 25 – 27:
9:00 – 10:30 am     Teachings with Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche
10:30 – 11:00 am   Tea Break at the monastery
11:00 – 12:30 pm  Meditation

Lunch at the Monastery
12:30 – 13:30 pm

Afternoon Schedule: November 25 – 26
2:00 – 3:30 pm     Teachings with Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche
3:45 – 5:15  pm     Meditation

2) Languages:
Teachings will be in Tibetan with consecutive English translation. There will also be consecutive translation into Nepali, Chinese, French, German, Russian, Spanish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese and maybe other languages according to the needs of the participants.

Translations other than English and Nepali will be broadcast via FM Radio, or via Zoom for participants with their own mobile data internet connection.

3) Requirements:
Part One of the seminar is open to all those who are interested.
Part Two has requirements for attendance. In accordance with the wishes of Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche please make sure that you meet one of the requirements:

• Complete attendance of Part One
• Complete attendance of any other multi-day seminar with Rinpoche in person, or online
• Completion of Tara’s Triple Excellence’s First Excellence,

4) Registration:
Registration onsite will take place outside the main shrine hall on Friday, November 18, from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm, but we encourage you to pre-register online at Shedrub.org beginning on October 20, 2022. Pre-registering helps us to estimate the number of attendees, and the needs for translation, so we can best serve you.

If you pre-register online, please stop by the in-person registration table on November 18th, to complete your registration and pick up your 10% Discount Card for Utpala Café—the monastery’s beautiful restaurant!
